This page contains nude human bodies and frank writing about sexuality — presented as art and philosophy, not pornography. It is intended for adults.
This page is not porn. It contains nude human bodies, and that is a different thing — or it should be. Our culture regulates the naked body through shame, and then mistakes the shame for morality. I want the body back: as truth, and as power.
Strip away the clothing and what remains is the one thing that cannot lie about what it is. The nude body is a symbol for truth — not innocence, not purity, those are just more costumes. Truth: here is the animal, here are the years written in it, here is the unedited fact.
I wish our culture didn't meet that fact with shame. Shame is a leash, and it was put on us deliberately — by whom, and to what end, is a longer story. For now: look at the body without flinching, and notice who taught you to flinch.
And then there is the sexual aspect — which is not the opposite of the first. It is the first, plus current.
Sexual exchange generates power, and it is much more than procreation. Two bodies in yab-yum close a circle, and something real moves through that circle: luminescent, coursing, round and round through the ring their bodies together produce. Energy transacted — given, returned, amplified. This is not metaphor. Ask anyone who has felt it.
Procreation is the footnote. The text is the exchange itself: the most intense meeting two composite beings can arrange, the current that passes where they join. Our culture took that current and grounded it in shame too — same leash, same hand holding it.
